Ogden Marathon

The official times have been posted and team "Nan's Pack" came in 11th place. It was an awesome experience!!!! You can check it out at https://www.onestoprace.com/results/default.aspx?event=4925&r=559 pictures will be posted later in the week. Thanks to team members Nic, Tony, Scott Sandberg, and Eric Young. FYI...I ran my personal best time of 8:50 splits for a total of 44:23 for 5 miles. Thanks Nic for running with me. I'm sorry I told you to "shut up." Love ya and see you on Memorial Day.

Grandkids Memories

Dakota-- My best memory of Grandma was when I was little. I loved dinosaurs and she would always take me to the dinosaur park in Ogden and we would look around. Then as we would leave we got to stop in the gift shop and she would buy me a plastic dinosaur. Needless to say I had quite a few dinosaurs because of all of our trips.
Shianne-- I remember visiting Grandma in Arizona. She took me to Mexico and made me sit on a donkey for pictures. I also remember her teaching me to sew during that trip.
Connor-- I remember going to Arizona and running around Grandma and Grandpa's house shooting Nerf darts everywhere. Grandma would always tell me she was finding the darts years later.
Bailee-- Hi my name is Bailee and my Grandma was and always will be special in these ways...me and Grandma snipped green beans, snipped not cut. My Grandma would much rather snip green beans then pluck chickens. I love you Grandma Mayfield!
Me and my Grandma loved to sew and make crafts together. She always had a lot of great ideas. My Grandma loved to help people. She loved to volunteer at her church. I hope to follow in her footsteps in helping others.
Me and my family will miss her in all different ways, but like my Aunt Tara told me: tomorrow will always come because we have a strong enough family and we will get through this together. Thank you all for coming it means a lot to me. I love all my friends and family. Thank you.
Brooklyn-- I remember singing country songs with Grandma at the condo after we had spent the day sledding.
Taylor-- Some of my favorite memories of Grandma are when I went on an airplane to Arizona with just my brother, Dakota and my cousin, Connor. When we got there, Grandma and Grandpa were waiting at the airport to take us to the house where their pet turtle and dog were waiting. When we made it to the house, we got to feed the turtle lettuce. The next day, we tried to cut our own fingernails, which didn't go to well. During our visit, Grandma took us to get some Nerf dart guns and we had the most awesome little "war" underneath the bridge next to their house. We still have them today. Then a couple of years after, when they came on a visit to Utah, Grandma took the whole family to go watch The Simpson's Movie, it was so much fun! I will never forget my Grandma ever and I miss her.
Marissa-- My memory of my Grandma was when I went to Arizona. I remember getting my hair and makeup done, swimming, making blankets and cuddling on the couch. I love my Grandma and I am so happy that I got to make these memories with her.
Bo--My favorite memories of Grandma are sledding in the mountains and spending Christmas with her.
Mason--My memory of my Grandma was when we went sledding and she would bring hot chocolate to warm me up.
Ryan-- I remember when Grandma took all of us kids on the Front Runner to Salt Lake and back.
Cassidy--My Grandma bought me giant sparkly diamonds, that I love!
Karson--I remember Great-Grandma holding me for the first time.
